Sorède

Sorède is a well kept traditional French village with much character that offers relaxing holidays with easy access to a wealth of leisure activities within a few minutes away.

The villa lies in the heart of "La Vallée Heureuse" - "The Happy Valley". This is a picturesque settlement about 1 kilometre outside Sorède in the foothills of the mountain Les Alberes.
The tranquil valley offers beautiful views and nature walks in wine fields, woods and mountains. A calm river flows down the hills to Sorède passing a turtle farm that is worth a visit.

Looking for other activities, you will only have to descend from La Vallée Heureuse. Sorède and neighbouring villages offers a wealth of events during the summer. The world unique hand made Perpignan whip is manufactured in Sorède and you are welcome to join a guided tour of the manufacturing. The railway museum displays steam, electric railway and coal mining memorabilia with various working models. It also offers a ride on a miniature railway
